It is not only Farmers who are affected here remember the family business, I have worked at my family business for over thirty years.

I have run the company for the past fifteen years however i do not own the shares.

If the shareholder passes away after April next year we as a family are looking at

An inheritance tax bill of over a million on the business alone.

There is no way that we would want to continue with the company if this was to happen.

We would look to close down the business that has been running since 1956

Over the next few months we will decide the fate of the business the other option is to

Sell the company before April 2025 or cease trading and make the staff redundant.
