Hi. In the coming hours my channel will cross 400,000 subscribers. I am quite emotional about this. Subscriber count is really cool but ultimately three years later the thing that really matters is....you. You that watch videos. You that share them. You that like them. You that is excited to click on a video. You that is in the discord. You that has notifications turned on. You that supports on patreon. You that is patient. You that will give a kind critique. You that will give a supportive comment. You that watches while you cook. You that listens while you drive. You that is open minded to music. You that loves music with a passion. You who doesn't know anything about music. You who feels ostracized since you don't have anyone to vibe with. You who are happy. You who are sad. You who are lonely. You who has plenty.
Channels live and die by their audience & the algorithm and the algorithm follows the audience. I am here, yes, because I have experiences that help me talk about music & games in a unique way but also because of you. A channel is nothing without its viewers. I am not perfect. I have messed up. I have over promised and underdelivered. I've had strong opinions. I've led to people being upset or disappointed. But, I also hope I have brought light to lives. Helped people discover new things. Helped people who never felt they could connect to music realize that they can quite easily. Whether you watch one video or every video or even just one here or there. I am able to live a better life because of you and I need you to know how much that means to me. Thank you for being here. I promise to keep inventing. Creating. Trying new things. Have fun. And explore different ways to bring music to you and to the masses. Music is for everyone. Music makes our lives better. I am glad my life brought me here. Three years ago my channel had 23 subscribers. Today it has 400,000. Thank you, Marco (special shoutout to my editor Nathan, my thumbnail designer and strategist Raul, my incredible mods, my helpers, and Luna for keeping me sane.)
I think to myself “oh boy I can’t wait to have a fun game of Titanfall” and then the second I doom a titan this yakubian spawn of Hitler with a 6th sense for doomed titans phase shifts out of the shadows to execute the titan I so deserved the credit of killing
The real worst part of AI voice acting is that it robs us of the spectacle of seeing random people whip out a near 1 to 1 impression of a character for stupid shit like this
