We are super thankful for Ms. Shaw and her dedication to our school’s music program and choir!

[Montgomery Public Schools @MPSAL]

This past Saturday, the wonderful students from @WSGarrettMPS Elementary School Choir had the honor of performing during halftime at the @Huntingdon College Men’s Basketball Game! This marks the choir’s second year being invited to perform! A special shoutout to Ms. Shaw for her dedication and commitment to the students and the music program. Congratulations to the choir on a job well done!

❄️SNOW IN THE SWAMP❄️

For the first time in a LONG time the swamp was frozen over and there was a layer of beautiful white snow covering our campus. Even though we weren’t able to share this day together, we know our Gators enjoyed the fun with their family and friends!!

🍂🎃Let’s throw pumpkins y’all!🍂🎃

What better way to start off Fall then by creating Candy Pumpkin Catapults. Our 5th Grade students worked together using the Engineering Design Process in a fun, hands-on project

🎉 Science is delicious!

Today our 5th graders dove into an edible experiment, crafting their own snack mixtures and flavored water solutions to extend their learning about mixtures and solutions while having a blast!

Lunch with the Hornets of @BamaStateSports was a blast! 🐝🏈 The athletes shared wisdom with students, emphasizing the power of education. The highlight? A fun pickup football game between @BamaStateFB and our 4th & 5th graders!!

As we gear up for the 2024-2025 academic year, we want to remind parents that our school district does have a clear bag policy in place for the safety and security of our students and staff. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe learning environment for all.
