Today, on the Day of Mourning, Ontario announced a new memorial to be built at Queen’s Park to commemorate the contributions and sacrifices of construction workers whose lives have been lost or changed forever due to work-related incidents.
Today is the National Day of Mourning — a time to remember & honour workers who have lost their lives, been injured or become ill on the job. We'll take a moment of silence at 11 a.m. to🙏 remember those affected & recommit to a future where every worker returns home safely. 🫶

An important reminder: #DayofMourning to honour those lost while recommitting to safety. Take a moment today to honour the loved ones who died on the job, while also ensuring your workplace is safe each and every day.
