Thanks to @Sen_Chandler for her final Legislative address today exemplifying her eloquence & convictions by "fighting the quiet fights until they become loud". It was an incredible honor to be mentioned & the privilege of a lifetime to start my career in her service!
Today, @MassLtGov, @MassEducation Secretary Peyser, @MassLWD Secretary Acosta, & @MassEOHED Secretary Kennealy joined the #STEM Advisory Council at @VertexPharma in the Seaport, where they recapped #MassSTEMWeek & discussed other STEM initiatives for our students moving forward.
Happy to have hosted State Senator and Worcester State alumni @AnneGobi during her visit to campus with Commissioner Ortega on Friday during a "mild" weather day.
What a pleasure it was - minus the weather - to host a productive and collaborative meeting last week with the President and executives officers from Atlantic Technological University (ATU), Ireland during their Worcester visit.
The assignment: take a pix w/the Prez. Meetings got the best of me last week so I swung by their class Tuesday to help everyone out. Thanks Professor Blake and the "Our Human Endeavor" students: that was a nice start to my morning!
Pictures from the opening week of the fall semester and upper campus festivities known as "Quadfest" to welcome new, first-year and transfer students, and alumni to campus.
