When you’re hungry, you need food
When you’re thirsty, you need water
When you’re weathered, you need shelter
When you’re stressed, you need escape
Our needs are changing as we evolve as a work-centric society
Entertainment is just as important as traditional needs

This is very exciting. I loved the films. To know their being adapted into a series is a very cool thing for me—especially as someone who spent the last two years studying comedy adaptations for television.
@SethMacFarlane I’m very pumped for you.

This is not a drill! This is happening!
After much musing over the years about there being potential for an anime adaptation of ‘Scott Pilgrim’, I’m thrilled to say one is IMMINENT, with the whole cast back together and… you are going to lose your minds.
We should normalize “making of” segments at the ends of narrative TV episodes much like “The Last of Us.” I’ve learned through research over the years that ancillary content drives a huge portion of fandom and fan loyalty to TV programs. Why not tack that on to the credits roll?
I don’t have data to support this next statement, but I’m willing to bet adding this form of content after the credits roll improves minutes watched metrics for streaming shows since people will want to see the inner workings of what they just saw.
This makes me wonder how much other content follows an archetype of a man as the expected leader and an archetype of a woman as the unexpected leader (or the one with the real answers). This exact set up appears everywhere. (Hercules, Crazy Stupid Love, Stranger Things, etc.)
I believe managing media teams involves more than efficiency. It’s all about the morale of the workers (this can be said for all teams). The video product may be good to external stakeholders, but positive culture creates internal value for the team which builds desire to improve
So I know POS means Point Of Sale in most circles, but where I grew up, it also meant Piece Of Sh!t. So whenever I see brands advertise their glorious POS system for retail or anything similar, I instantly get turned off from the ad. Why would I want a POS system?
As an MBA student, I have to say… big ups to those who decide to dedicate their lives to studying stats. The masochism involved in that field is astounding. You’re doing God’s work.
