@Monctonscout Yeah, I don't think he'd light the world on fire, but a nice bottom 6 option that can play up and down the lineup when needed, like an Anderson
Puljujarvi is an interesting option. His hip issues are apparently a thing of the past and he's completely rebuilt his skating mechanics. Still only 28 and just had a monster season in the Swiss league. 52pts in 52gp. 6'4 216lbs, good skater. Probably comes cheap.
Gleb Pugachyov (#93) vs. Loko Yaroslavl
📅 2026.04.30 (Kharlamov Cup Semi-Final)
A little bit of everything: power, skill, power, shot, downhill skating. One of the nastiest assists of the playoffs. Took a lot to cut this down to 2:20.

The Habs freed up 3 million in cap space while giving up nothing. Really not understanding the frustration with the lack of assets coming back. You're lucky to not have to pay to give up a contract this bad. Big win for the Habs.
#GoHabsGo very early in the year I was really high on Brayden Klimpke. He immediately reminded me of a cheaper version of Tanner Molendyk. Effortless skater. One of the best D in zone-entries you could find in this draft. He does have a little edge to his game to. Love to throw the old hip check every now and then.
His defensive plays had a lot of highs and a lot of lows too.
I've watched him 14 times, last game being in january (watched him a ton early on)
I have taken 188 clips during my viewings, maybe I'll put them all together for you to see ;)
Timofei Runtso is one of the most intriguing re-entry prospects available for the 2026 draft
The Victoria Royals defender is tall, lanky, and shows impressive flashes of offensive pop. Sometimes he looks like a baby giraffe on skates, but if that improves, watch out
Some clips:
Fans going after Hughes for not making a move yet are ridiculous. Just look at his track record since 2022 - Dach, Newhook, Matheson, Dobson, Bolduc, etc. He'll get something big done. Only a matter of time.
Mentioned on our live stream last night that I thought Pugachyov was a great fit for the #Habs but I didn’t expect him to slide out of the top 20. Once he did, the Habs obviously got ready to pounce. So hard to find these nasty SOB’s these days- kid is big, mean and has skill.
Gleb Pugachyov's season has come to an end, and he recently found himself ranked 14 on Pronman's list. A high motor, heavy-hitting power forward with a solid 2-way game.
The best hitter in the #2026NHLDraft. Here's 2:30 of Gleb crushing dudes. enjoy
#GoHabsGo
Gleb Pugachyov is an EXCELLENT pick by the Habs at 26 and good for them for trading up. 14th on my list. A true, throw-back punishing power-forward that honed his individual skills (especially his playmaking) throughout the year. Clear case of BPA.
Here's my Scouting Report on him
