“In a statement, the local Iranian water utility company said the reservoirs were ‘targeted and completely destroyed’ on Wednesday morning in U.S. strikes in the Bemani area of Sirik in southern Iran.”

In response to the attacks, the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, release a statement saying that “critical infrastructures are the lifeblood of the people. Threats to target them—from transportation networks to the electricity and water industries—are not a show of strength but a sign of desperation in the face of a nation's will.”

“Iran, relying on the knowledge and capabilities of its specialists, national unity, and solidarity, will stand firm against any pressure or threat.”

BREAKING: OUCH! Morning Joe scorches Ted Cruz for claiming that James Talarico isn't "masculine" enough to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate — by airing Cruz's dainty dirty laundry.

The incredibly childish nature of this attack proves that Republicans have absolutely nothing to attack Talarico on. He's a devout Christian and a proven member of the Texas House of Representatives. Meanwhile, his opponent was impeached by his own party while state attorney general for bribery and his wife divorced him for adultery.

"Says the man who still bows to a politician who suggested his father killed JFK, and mocked his wife as ugly," Joe Scarborough said on his show, referring to the fact that Cruz cravenly swallowed Trump's insults and lined up to support him. "Don’t think this is most Americans’ view masculinity."

During the 2016 Republican primary, Trump warned Cruz that he would "spill the beans" on his wife Heidi and posted an unflattering photograph of her. Coming from a man who sees women solely as objects, the message was clear: You're less of a man because your wife is unattractive.

Screwworms, which devour tissue and can kill cattle, have been detected in a growing number of calves in Texas. One case has been discovered in a dog. The pest had been considered eradicated in the United States for decades, but under Elon Musk's tenure at DOGE, the government slashed preventive measures and funding aimed at hampering the spread of the creature.

Before those cuts, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), spent tax dollars on monitoring and containing the spread of screwworm in Central America. It was one of the most worthwhile government investments on the books, because it helped stop destructive outbreaks like the one we're currently witnessing.

"Trump GUTTED funding for screwworm detection and fired 25 percent of workers whose job it was to monitor the disease," Congressman Shri Thanedar wrote on X.

We know who's to blame here and it's not Joe Biden. It's Donald Trump and Elon Musk, ignorant oligarchs who were so hellbent on slashing spending to pay for more tax cuts for the obscenely rich, that they didn't care what they destroyed in the process.
