It’s interesting how Butler talks about how gender is an act, that society has created and without us realizing we are performing those acts. #WTCGender@USAOWTC
@zoe_blue_@USAOWTC I agree, I love to be able to feel and understand what the artist is trying to show and creativity is part of it, that’s why I like this type of Art so much because it gives the artist freedom.
I don’t think it’s a surprise that surrealists were rejected by the society, we always see that the unexpected and unconventional is not always liked by everyone. #WTCisms@USAOWTC
Mirror was my favorite one, the way I see it it’s a woman that is looking at her reflection at the lake and that is falling in love with herself. “Searching my reaches for what she really is”. She is trying to find herself. #WTCMods@USAOWTC
How it is mentioned in the reading “placed a special focus on fiction and reality” I think that combination it’s amazing and makes the Art even more interesting. You look at the paintings and say this looks real but at the same time not completely.#WTCIMp@USAOWTC
I really like that Realism shows the truth, I think sometimes this technique may bother people but for me at the end of the day it’s showing nothing but facts and that is amazing. #WTCReal19@USAOWTC
@ramiro39560386 I agree, is like Victor thought that he just needed to be worried about creating it and not about the after of it, like the monster feelings or how we was going to have a good life and fit in it.
The whole first half of the book I pictured a monster in my head, but after reading the rest of the story my way to see the monster changed, I didn’t picture an evil creature in my mind anymore. Victor was the monster, his creation only wanted to fit in. #WTCFrank2@USAOWTC
