Given the continued threat of COVID-19 to our school communities & the resulting school closures, @GovMurphy has announced that NJ is cancelling all statewide student assessments for the spring 2020 testing window.

With students at home, and not in their regular classrooms, it is simply not feasible for us to be able to move forward with testing in any meaningful way.
This decision will not impact the graduation requirements of any student.
After careful discussion with @NewJerseyDOE and @NewJerseyOAG, we’ve applied for the available federal waiver to cancel all student standardized testing scheduled for April.
