@RebaPowell This ballot measure is a huge opportunity Fort Collins neighbors to invest in and improve their neighborhoods directly. So many neighbors benefit from the services of Parks and Recreation and it’s a huge equity and environmental and economic driver.
@SethMacFarlane@TheOrville is among the best humanist, hope-punk sci-fi ever created. It makes your fans proud to be fans and provides a vision of the future that is hopeful, achievable, and worth striving for. 💯
@jacymarmaduke This thread: 100%. THANK YOU; your ability to chunk intricate and interconnected processes like City Council discussions so folks can read, learn, and quickly take action established a legacy in FoCo that is both hard to follow and necessary for others to continue in your wake.
@audible_com Here's the deal: because a title is included in the Plus Catalog, my kiddo can't listen to it on his (inherited) paperwhite and I cannot buy it on my end to get him a copy he can listen to b/c it's "in my library". So he's stuck unable to listen to the second book in a series.
@audible_com The Plus Catalog doesn't work on Paperwhites. Your customer service folks just told me I could "go listen to something I already bought." 🤪
Four public commenters, including fomer D1 candidate Nick Armstrong, say options 3 and 4 do a better job of keeping like communities in the same district
@ExLindsay @fortcollinsgov In terms of environmental goals: nothing is more damaging than teaching entire generations of neighbors that they MUST DRIVE to play, shop, eat, work, and live… that’s the lesson writ large throughout North East FoCo.
@ExLindsay @fortcollinsgov I’m happy to report that Nicole @ City Traffic has been hugely helpful to pushing the effort forward but it’s gonna take regional collaboration to accomplish trails + bike lanes. Waiting for developers to tackle the trails is a recipe for patchwork and haphazard connections in D1
@ExLindsay @fortcollinsgov A gentle reminder that most of your neighbors in District 1 (esp. those North of Mulberry, east of Lemay) have no access to protected bike lanes, sidewalks, or trails yet and so cannot participate or even bike between parks (despite wanting to and it looking like a lot of fun!)
