Actual numbers of non natives are likely much higher as official stats lost count of illegals.

Officially south asians make up about 7% of the population but that doesn’t include all the recent illegals. That means they are a more dominant group now than scots, irish or welsh.

The ethnic cornish make up at most 0.29% but probably much less.

Talk of separatism/secession almost always comes from people who do not understand the demographic reality of these islands.

If my children were born in Japan, spoke Japanese, and had never left Japan, they would still be English.

They may love Japan, as I do, but that does not change their heritage. The Japanese would still see them as gaijin.
