@PRGuy17 Wasn't vaxed, got Covid, wound up on a ventilator and it caused permanent heart damage. Now I have a heart condition and the common cold can leave me in bed feeling like death for up to a month.

This is bullshit. I'm already living paycheque-to-paycheque. It's only $250-$260 but that's still enough to cover things like fuel, food, and medical aids. Just proves, working for @Coles is the same as working for any other soulless organisation.

Wasn't well last week. Had to take both of my shifts off. I'm on contract so I have sick and annual leave hours (which has honestly been a blessing). Problem is, after breaking my toe earlier in the year and then with my disability making it harder to work during the cold months>

I have no sick leave hours left, and I have bills that need to be paid. But because someone in payroll switched it to sick leave, I got paid... Nothing.

Manager followed it up and we got the email back this morning. It'll be paid out in the next pay cycle in 5 days.>

If a screw up happens with a team member's pay, that should be rectified IMMEDIATELY.
Not "the payment will be received in the next payrun".

Considering all of them were done in the space of a day, I'm pretty happy with these grades 😂
