@wu_jorelle - a bit ecstatic to hear Jorelleβs invitation.
βI agree, it is everyoneβs problem. There are so many consequences and repercussions of whatβs happening. Itβs not fair to think anything otherwise.β
@wu_jorelle βIβd really like that,β she responds, beaming as she takes a seat.
Making friends has never been her strong suit. More often than not, her friendships were built by others approaching her. But she wants to be more active and mindful in her friendships these days, so sheβs -
@wu_jorelle - I don't know where to begin, and going at it alone has always intimidated me a little. I didn't even know about the rally for the North until after it had already happened."
@wu_jorelle "Standing up for one's beliefs is hard, but if it truly matters to a person, then they will find a way."
She appears a bit sheepish as she continues. "I've always wanted to participate more in protests for things that matter, but I admit, I've been a bit hesitant. -
"Perfect!"
She raises her camera to snap the photo, then she looks it over on the screen.
"Looks great! See?"
She turns the screen so Dany can see the picture.
One arm is swiftly offered to the girl. "It would be an honor, my lady."
That's how people addressed women when Gran was young two hundred years ago, right? Right.
"I'd love to," she says, beaming at him.
"That's where all the action is, right?"
She hangs the camera across her body before glancing back up at him.
"Shall we, Your Majesty?"
"Dateless today, believe it or not." He sighs, overdramatic in fashion. "So I'm heading in now. Show off this sick crown. Wanna join and get extra hype for your work?"
With a soft laugh, she simply nods. "If you want, I certainly won't protest."
She glances back down at her camera before placing it into sleep mode.
"So, are you headed into the ball now, or are you waiting for someone?"
He keeps admiring the picture with a grin, then looks to her.
"I'd love that. Gonna credit you on Insta as one of the best photographers this campus has to offer."
She reflects his grin, and echoes his words.
"King of the flowers!"
Then she hands the picture over to him with a chuckle.
"It looks great," she says. "If you want a digital version, I can send it to you later."
He takes it with perhaps a little too much reverence and stands by as the picture develops. His grin grows and grows until every line is defined and more than evident.
"King of the flowers!"
She laughs, nodding in response.
"Sure!"
Once she has the picture pulled up, she pulls a small lever on the device, and it's mechanisms begin to whir. Slowly, a print of the photo is produced.
She turns it to show Loras. "Watch, it'll take a moment to develop."
"I'm flattered that you think they're good enough to buy," she says with a laugh.
"But I'm not charging anything. Do you want digital, physical, or both? This thing can print polaroids, which I think is /super fun/."
He leans closer to the screen. Damn. He does look good, even with the added flower crown (which he can already /hear/ Gran objecting to.)
Loras beams. "That's sick! How much do you charge for delivering those photos?"
Once he's in position, she takes a step back and frames him with her camera.
After the photo is snapped, she checks the result on the screen.
"Oh, that's perfect! See?"
She turns the screen so that he can see it.
