@tinscognito__ Peak experience is WVUs Blue lot tailgate here in Morgantown WV. Pepperoni rolls, beer, moonshine all before another 60k sellout.
I didn’t get it at first but it’s brilliant.
@HashtagGriswold She got what she wanted.
Made a snarky comment about something and he bit which gave her the attention she craved. Then she milks it even further by playing the victim.
@RadiNabulsi Doesn’t the average play in a football game last 5 seconds?
Half the time is cooing on the sidelines for half the game.
In soccer the entire team participates in offense and defense which means running.
Get the 400lb guy that tackles to try a soccer game.
@JadenAFC This whole argument is ridiculous. I’ve been in both worlds and they’re both amazing in their own way. Problem is the online crowd speak loudest when genuine fans appreciate the experiences. I’m a massive Arsenal fan but it’s not like a rocking Mountaineer Field vs Pitt.
@cowlonfull Arsenal left Highbury because it literally couldn’t be made any bigger. At the time, capacity had more impact on finances, until Abramovic showed up and meant that extra money was meaningless. It’s worth noting that the club paid a lot to stay in the local area.
@imkikosuarez It never used to be like this. Growing up, it was always exciting to see the different stadiums and things in the different countries.
I also think it’s largely just online bullshit that actual people don’t even think about.
@Europoorupset They’re actually full of wealthy donors and those that can afford tickets. Maybe 2 or 3 sections of students. The real fans are usually watching from home after they tailgate.
@hughlaurie@jan_murray I watched “A Bit of Fry and Laurie” recently. Every episode seems to involve lots of comedy sketches and they all seem to be the same two actors.
