A big day for our girls as well! Abbie Hooten and Brooklynn Dills led the team to a state qualification! The team travels to the Lexington Horse Park next week!

Congratulations to our bearcats who competed at the Adidas Nationals Track meet this past weekend in Greensboro, NC! We are proud of the hard work our athletes put in and how they represent our school and community!

Sophomores Ava Kendall (Discus) and Wyatt Shearer (800 meter) both placed 4th in the state today!

Maggie Meyer broke two school records today!

She ran the 100 meter dash in 12.92!

She ran the 200 meter dash in 26.39 placing 3rd in the state and breaking a record dating back to 1983!

Way to go, Maggie!!!

Congratulations to seniors Grayson Dye (1600 meter) and Lindsey Brooks (800 meter) for setting PR’s in their final high school meet!

We are proud of the hard work all of our seniors have put into running over their time at WV!

Maggie Meyer, Abbie Hooten, Josie Holtzapple and Dixie Hensley broke their own school record in the 4x200 and finished 3rd in the state.

4x400 with Lindsey Brooks placed 3rd while the 4x100 with Claire Sams finished 5th in the state.
