I have a six year old who is planning to be a “Tesla maker” in a few years. Heads up @elonmusk you can expect his resume in 2039. https://t.co/ZCZcrIjFKV
These two are having very different experiences at this #wvugame
Bonnie is terrified of the musket (but adores Mary!)
Joe loves absolutely every single part!
My best girl came to work with me today because I’ve been missing her in the evenings due to taking big brother to practice. Thankful for a workplace that values and accommodates family life! 💓 @WorkatWVU
After conducting a thorough study/sampling of my kids’ Halloween candy bags over the past two weeks, I can honestly say that Baby Ruth’s are probably the most underrated candy bars out there.
Read a book about rocks/minerals to my 6 year old son. Trying to make a real world connection I showed him my diamond engagement ring and explained why Scott gave it to me. His takeaway— “Dad gave you a rock so you’d be his wife? That’s dumb. I’m giving my wife a Lamborghini.”
When you and your team planned an outdoor event and this is the weather forecast (Friday). Thankful I work with people that are flexible and good humored. We laughed a lot today while coming up with contingencies. I couldn’t ask for a better group of people!
Halloween night is complete and w/ that we move into the “holidays.” I overcommitted HARD in October, and I spread myself really thin (to the point of not enjoying some of my obligations and traditions.) Here’s to knowing (& respecting) my own limits as we finish 2022! #mindful
Whew! Our night got derailed by a missing stuffed animal. We located it after much searching. As Bonnie clutched it while falling asleep, she said, “I would be heartbroken if I lost Ghosty.” I don’t ever want their problems to get more complicated than this. 🥹
I wouldn’t change it for the world, but dang the after work/after school/activities/dinner/prep for tomorrow hustle is wild! Veteran #parents, tips for making it easier/smoother?
