KANSAS LAUNCH 🚀
The team went to Kansas to launch our own Mountain Mama!! This rocket was designed to reach 30k ft, and our data showed we reached 29,840ft 🤩 this is a MAJOR success for our club!

Luckily the rocket took only a small amount of damage and Matteo plans on repairing and flying again soon!!

This was his L3 certification flight attempt! Sadly, the altimeters got disconnected after the drogue event, so they weren’t able to deploy the main parachute🪂 The rocket hit the ground at 71 ft/s, almost triple the anticipated speed! 💥
