God, so many films now look so godawful! It’s not even just the CGI. I’m watching Unchartered (not good) and Mark Wahlberg’s make up is so heavy, he could be on Drag Race
It’s like that skateboarder who complained that a trans person competed and then it turned out a 7 year old had also placed higher than her in that same comp. Like, hun, maybe this dream is not for you
@jasebyjason I think so many artists are obsessed with creating a moment or hack by a viral moment with like “slated and served 4 looks?!” and it’s eating into their time/energy going into actually bringing some star power or presence to the festival
Not naming names but there’s one main character in particular where you just pray the writers stop giving them anything complex because they can barely play the simple stuff. And then they constantly put them next to the most compelling actors in the whole programme 😭
The US version of Shameless truly had so much potential to be a great show. The good acting really lets the writers get away with some rough choices but it also shows up the weaker cast members
@jasebyjason I do think if she’d have been a nightmare but Susan didn’t make everyone wanna rip their eyes out, it would have been different. If audiences had wanted more of her, her antics would have been quickly forgiven
While everyone’s talking about Frank Hester, would recommend looking at the glass door and indeed reviews of The Phoenix Partnership. If you’re in Leeds, you’ve either had a bad experience with them or you know someone who has
Not to sound mean but Chris O’Shea and his entire family and social circle should be absolute pariahs who can’t do anything fun or enjoyable while plunging millions of people into poverty/being pally with someone who does that
