Why are people mad at the Undertaker? All he said is today's wrestling lacks the credibility and physicality it had before. And it's true.

That's why Brock Lesnar draws and Ricochet doesn't. I love Ricochet, but flips and dives lose their effect after a while. Violence doesn't.

@view_raw I 100% agree. I think we've had enough long runs for now. The Attitude Era had 3 to 4 month long reigns where the company had a chance to showcase several top talent and move through stories with many variables and surprises, so it's not as bad as people make it seem.

@TripleHHHPaulL No clue how he's attained as much success in the business and still doesn't understand that he's essentially an athletic actor. In the NBA, the better team and game plan wins. In wrestling, the better wrestler doesn't always win. The guy the booker chooses wins. It's that simple.

@MeltzerSaidWhat I swear this is one of AEW's diehards biggest comprehension problem: wrestling isn't supposed to be presented as real sports because the outcomes are scripted. Doesn't mean you make a mockery of it and do unrealistic shit (which they also do btw), but it can't be put as sports.

@jeremylambert88 He knows there's no fucking up this time, back in the big leagues. He also knows he's surrounded by true professionals, so there won't be need for drama and politics, as was the case elsewhere. And this is how it should be. He's here for the big money matches with true pros.

@SuperfanAew @AEW @TonyKhan It doesn't matter who they sign, their formula is broken. Keep focusing on workrate matches and the arenas will continue empty. Shift to a storyline-driven sports entertainment show and they'll pique the interest of a very wide audience. And keep your clueless EVPs in check.

@LyricWrestling I seriously don't understand how you see one company THRIVING by doubling down on the sports-entertainment and another severely struggling with "real wrestling" and go, "Yeah, AEW needs less sports-entertainment and more wrestling." Couldn't be further from the truth!!!

@JobberNationTV I wouldn't say never. Perhaps if Tony Khan steps aside and hires an actual booker who knows how to write weekly TV wrestling shows and gets rid of the Bucks as EVPs, then AEW does have a chance. But until that happens, and it's quite unlikely it does, they're dead in the water.
