Has WWE FAILED Dominik Mysterio?

Because at some point, being a “cowardly heel” stops being character work and starts becoming bad booking.

Dom is one of the most naturally hated wrestlers WWE has created in years. The crowd reaction is there. The character is there. The charisma is there.

But WWE constantly books him like a GEEK.

He loses all the time, and more importantly to guys like Joe Hendry and Danhausen, he rarely feels dangerous, and he rarely gets meaningful wins without the same old boring booking.

And every time it feels like he’s about to take that next step, WWE reminds everyone that they don’t see him as someone they can bank on.

You can still book Dom as a cheating, obnoxious heel without making him look incompetent every week. Eddie Guerrero cheated constantly BUT you still believed he could beat anybody.

WWE had unbelievable momentum with Dom, but have they wasted it?
