THE ECONOMY ADDED 29,000 JOBS.
THE MACHINES ARE DOING GREAT.
The September jobs report landed this morning:
The United States added just 29,000 jobs.
Unemployment: 4.2%.
July and August were revised downward by another 60,000 jobs.
Meanwhile, Federal Reserve Vice Chair Philip Jefferson says business investment remains “quite strong”primarily because of AI-related spending.
Enter Karl Marx...

The economy can grow. Companies can become more productive. Markets can rise.
AND, workers can still receive a smaller portion of what the economy produces.
Marx had a word for this arrangement. Several, actually....

Congress: We really need to stop politicians from trading stocks.
Also Congress: The President? Oh, he’s fine.
