Today commemorates the 90th anniversary of the takedown at the Ma Barker House. This event honored the FBI’s courageous efforts in the longest shootout in FBI history, lasting 4 1/2 hours.

Supervisor Wesley Wilcox had the great privilege this week of registering two new first time voters. Not only are they first time voters, but they just also became U.S. citizens! It was an honor and privilege meeting you and helping you prepare for voting in your first election!

Today, Supervisor Wilcox was invited to speak at the Bar Association of Marion County to address voting safeguards, recent election legislation, and voter roll list maintenance. Attendees were engaged and asked informative questions in preparation for the 2024 election cycle. 🗳
