I’m extremely excited to announce that I’ve accepted the new role as Chief Meteorologist for WPEC CBS12 News in West Palm Beach! I can’t wait to join their talented weather team. I’ll start work in mid-March!
@CBS12
DRIER & LESS HUMID IN JUNE!
A rarity for the Sunshine State as a quick shot of drier, less humid conditions fills in through the weekend. Enjoy it while you can, storms return next week 😎👍
Rare June cold front will bring slightly less humid conditions over the next few days.
Probably the final shot of drier air for the season.
Enjoy it while you can!!!
The @NWSWPC had issued a level 1 risk of localized flooding across our area today. Heavy downpours are expected this afternoon & evening as increased tropical moisture has arrived.
An active weather pattern will continue through the weekend and much of next week ⛈️⛈️⛈️
Hostile environment for tropical development.
Tons of wind shear 1st week of June. There’s a small window of opportunity IF anything can find its way into the area just off the SE coast. Timing would have to be perfect for something to start spinning.
MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF TROPICAL MOISTURE
Beginning near May 28th through early June, deep plumes of atmospheric moisture will stream into the Sunshine State. Could be very beneficial rainfall heading our way!
