May 24, 2021:

A large tornado struck Selden, Kansas. Fortunately, the large cone was only at EF1 intensity when it tore through the town. Numerous structures were damaged and many trees were snapped or uprooted. One person was injured.

Another tornado anniversary! My first great tornado chase came on May 24, 2021 in Selden, KS. I thought we were about to witness the end of the town but the storm weakened right as it entered it and luckily was only a high end EF1.

2 years ago this day we chased the Eldorado EF2 tornado. This was a low expectation day for us. Man did it exceed our expectations.

KOCO9 just flew over the tornado-destroyed subdivision near Enid Air Force Base.

Many homes are severely damaged and a few are leveled and swept away.

Some light scouring is also visible. Violent damage.
