Today #WakefieldCadets assisted at Pugneys Country Park with the planting of 1000 new trees around the park. This voluntary work counts towards their required volunteering for their Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award. Fantastic work to those involved and for helping our environment🌳

#WakefieldCadets also had the pleasure of finally meeting and their drill being inspected by @WYP_HBrear. They all had their boots lovely and polished for the occasion. Thank you Ma’am 👞☺️

#WakefieldCadets got involved with a 2hr input around dealing with incidents of Public Order and learnt some safe arrest techniques! The cadets got to try on some operational uniform and try out the effectiveness of batons and shields!💪🏼👮‍♀️👮‍♂️@NationalVPC @WestYorksPolice

Today the #WakefieldCadets have had an input around Knife Crime and the dangers around carrying knives.🔪They have learnt about the consequences of knives and the impact they have on communities. Great session of drill practice too!🚶‍♀️🚶👍@NationalVPC @WestYorksPolice
