We only went and [finally] did it!!!!
Final participants have just left our booth. Thank you to all 180 #Bradford, #Wakefield, & #Kirklees participants and to those that helped to spread the word.

@omniaabdo_Ph We really hope so Omnia! There is a lot of data with Praat Textgrids (orthographic transcription) for each sound file. 180 participants over four separate speaking tasks. All studio quality! Thank you for the rt!
Woohoo! Put on your headphones, Praat at the ready... @WYRED_Project is ready and waiting. Please do tag us if you find our data useful. 4 years of data collection - we would love to see how it is being used!
Any students having difficulty gathering data for dissertations or projects during the lockdown, please get in touch. I would be happy to share some @WYRED_Project data if you would like to look at West Yorkshire (UK) speech!
And that's a wrap!
180 participants, 1080 sound files, 720 orthographic transcriptions, one @UKDataService submission later... And the @WYRED_Project is complete. Thank you for the funding @ESRC. Our data will be free and available to use!
