@thebetz93 I literally thought Cam first. But over the course of the year, I think we’ll see JPJ’s stock rising and cam’s stay steady or diminish slightly
@JHartman_PIT Hey Jeff, do you think the Steelers are content with whatever happens with Rodgers? If he stays, then they are “contenders” and if he retires, then all the other bandaid options have been taken. It seems like they would be fine with going into the season Rudolph/Howard. Thank you
@thebetz93 I feel like scheme on the defensive side will elevate the play… but you just wish that would’ve also been the case the last couple years after B Flo’s departure…
The offense, I’d imagine would be better with a high pick at both WR and O Line… and no more wasted reps on TE 3
@donmega777@DefiantLs It actually sounded like he said “vast majority apparently don’t have criminal records.” Which to me is irrelevant to the greater point, but it sounds different than what is quoted.
@JHartman_PIT Channeling my inner Brian Anthony Davis: I feel like the Steelers are the guy who wanted to take the 10/10 girl to prom, but she has too many demands, so the pivot and go with the girl who’s just happy to be invited. I don’t hate it, but I’m waiting for the coordinators & staff.
@JHartman_PIT Hey Jeff, are we sure that Art Rooney is cheap? He must be willing to shell out a lot of money to these talking heads to that are trying to convince fans or himself that this is an exciting hire. 😆 thank you!
@JHartman_PIT Do you think that the “red flags” during the interviews that led to the immediate hire of McCarthy will ever come out? If it does, I think they will say more than anything about the state of the decision making and quality of the ownership than anything else.
@JHartman_PIT Not so much a Steelers question, but since the Steelers interviewed but did not hire Flores, do you that’s it for him as a head coach? Was this his best last chance for a head coaching position?
@thebetz93 It’s the hire that people who chronically hate Steelers fans wanted the team to make.
Now we can just be miserable for a minimum of 5 years while they *wrongly* shout “ThiS iS wHaT yOu wAnteD”
I’m hoping that the coordinators and assistants are at least solid.
@JHartman_PIT Last question: do you believe that it was time for Tomlin to leave, or do you think he left the team in a hole that he helped create, and should have stayed to help get out of?
In other words, are the Steelers left as an empty slate, or empty cupboard?
