@jonathanchait The Demoncrats are ethnonationalist authoritarians who choose which candidates will win the primaries and support global imperialist actions.
@transjewtalian The criticism of religion ends with the teaching that man is the supreme being for man. It ends, therefore, with the categorical imperative to overthrow all those conditions in which man is an abased, enslaved, abandoned, contemptible being.
- Marx
@TheKavernacle Most intraclass conflicts are resolved in the collective struggle for liberation. The rest are resolved upon the creation of a free and just society.
@zerohedge The history of Western Civilization has been the struggle for actual democracy and freedom. Why have you abandoned the West and dedicated yourself to sucking up to those in power?
@BrewNCoffee2@Pontifex Everyone on the planet lives of the labor of farm workers whether they exchange labor for it or they steal it, like their capitalist pig bosses.
If online politics is so useless why is the establishment trying to censor it? From Musk buying Twitter to "The Kids Online Safety Act", these are direct assaults on political speech.
@TheKavernacle Socialism is better than humanism. Those wars are required for capitalist expansion, if the people were in charge they wouldn't happen. Everyone wants freedom but only a portion are humanists. Your politics are a dead end, embrace socialism.
“I have a foreboding of an America in my children's or grandchildren's time -- when the United States is a service and information economy; when nearly all the manufacturing industries have slipped away to other countries; when awesome technological powers are in the hands of a very few, and no one representing the public interest can even grasp the issues; when the people have lost the ability to set their own agendas or knowledgeably question those in authority; when, clutching our crystals and nervously consulting our horoscopes, our critical faculties in decline, unable to distinguish between what feels good and what's true, we slide, almost without noticing, back into superstition and darkness...
The dumbing down of American is most evident in the slow decay of substantive content in the enormously influential media, the 30 second sound bites (now down to 10 seconds or less), lowest common denominator programming, credulous presentations on pseudoscience and superstition, but especially a kind of celebration of ignorance”
― Carl Sagan, The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark
@TheKavernacle So you are saying that everyone should be judged on their personalities, not the thought out material actions they take in the world. What the millions of suffering people need are more personable politicians, that will fix everything.
@hecubian_devil Leave a 'great man' alone in the wilderness and his life becomes a struggle with nature for survival. Only networks of people can accomplish anything, individuals are weak. Alexander et al. didn't conquer anything, their armies did, he et al. were just good strategists.
@maxyyjones You guys are owning the Marxists with this stuff. You should add something about actually existing socialism and tell them that Marx didn't really want a dictatorship of the proletariat.🤣
