In the wake of severe storms that moved through our service area, 6 tornadoes have now been confirmed — along with damaging straight-line winds reaching up to 90–100 mph. Since the storms passed, our crews have been working 24/7 to safely assess damage and restore service.
Out of the 67,535 customers affected, power has already been restored to nearly 94%. As of this morning, about 4,100 customers remain without service. We expect to restore power to remaining customers 11:00 p.m. tonight.

Crews continue working around the clock to restore service to the remaining 10,500 customers affected by this weekend’s severe storm. Our teams are addressing hundreds of damaged locations across the hardest-hit areas of Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland counties.

As our sister utilities complete restoration in their own service territories, they are releasing additional crews to assist us. This added support will help accelerate cleanup efforts and ensure all remaining customers are restored as safely and quickly as possible.
Crews continue working around the clock to restore service to approximately 29,000 customers affected by yesterday’s severe storm. Our teams are addressing hundreds of damage locations, including more than 100 broken poles across the hardest‑hit areas of Fayette, Washington -
