لیکن آج چونکہ ن لیگ خود حکومت میں ہے اور انتہائی شرمناک حد تک بری کارکردگی ہے، لہٰذا ان کو گولڈ میڈل دیا جاۓ۔ ان کے خلاف احتجاج کرنے والا "غدار" ہے۔

“Never in the history of Pakistan has any political leader been subjected to the treatment that I am currently enduring. Nawaz Sharif committed corruption worth billions and was nevertheless granted every possible comfort in prison. In contrast, never before has the innocent and apolitical spouse of a political figure been imprisoned under such inhumane conditions as those imposed upon Bushra Bibi.

I am enduring the harshest prison term in the country’s history solely for the supremacy of the Constitution and in service of my nation. The level of oppression and authoritarianism is such that even the water I have for ablution is filthy and contaminated with dirt, unfit for any human being. Books sent to me by my family have been withheld for months. Access to television and newspapers has also been suspended. I have spent countless hours re-reading the same old books, but now even those are no longer available.

All my basic human rights have been violated. Even the minimum facilities accorded to ordinary prisoners under the law and the jail manual are denied to me. Despite repeated requests, I have not been allowed to speak to my children. Political meetings have also been restricted; I am only permitted to meet certain ‘choice individuals’, while all other interactions are barred.

I am waging a battle against a 78-year-old system, and my greatest success is that despite unprecedented oppression, the public stands firmly with me.

On February 8th (2024), the people expressed their trust in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf by voting for you even in the absence of an electoral symbol. After such a clear mandate, it is the moral and political responsibility of every party member to become the voice of the people. It will be nothing short of disgraceful and condemnable if PTI leaders waste time on internal conflicts at this critical juncture. Anyone found engaging in factionalism within the party will be expelled. I am fighting for the future of our generations, and every sacrifice I make is for that cause. To create rifts within the party at this time would be a direct betrayal of my mission and vision.

The so-called government formed through Form 47 has crippled the judiciary through the 26th Constitutional Amendment. The way biased judges are now delivering blatantly unjust verdicts under these courts is visible to the entire nation. We must launch a robust campaign to liberate the judiciary, for no nation can survive, let alone progress, without judicial independence.”

ہمارا 27 ستمبر کا لانگ مارچ ایک پُرامن، جمہوری اور آئینی جدوجہد ہے۔ پاکستان کے ہر شہری کو آئین اور قانون کے دائرے میں رہتے ہوئے اپنے بنیادی حقوق کے لیے پُرامن طور پر آواز بلند کرنے اور اجتماع کرنے کا حق حاصل ہے۔ ہم اسی آئینی حق کو استعمال کرتے ہوئے اپنی آواز عوام اور متعلقہ اداروں تک پہنچائیں گے۔

عوامی مینڈیٹ کو کچل کر ملک پر مسلط ہونے والے وفاقی وزراء کی جانب سے مسلسل دھمکی آمیز بیانات کسی بھی جمہوری معاشرے کے لیے تشویش کا باعث ہیں۔ اختلافِ رائے کو دبانے یا شہریوں کو خوفزدہ کرنے کے بجائے فارم 47 حکومت کو چاہیے کہ وہ عوامی مطالبات سنے، آئینی حقوق کا احترام کرے اور سیاسی معاملات کا حل مکالمے، قانون اور جمہوری عمل کے ذریعے تلاش کرے۔

اس وقت پاکستان کا ہر ذی شعور شہری آئین کی اصل حالت میں بحالی اور ناحق قید سیاسی اسیران کی رہائی کا مطالبہ کر رہا ہے- پاکستان کا نوجوان روزگار اور بہتر مستقبل کا مطالبہ کر رہا ہے۔ مزدور اپنے معاشی حقوق اور باعزت زندگی کی جدوجہد کر رہا ہے۔ کسان اپنی محنت کا مناسب معاوضہ اور معاشی تحفظ چاہتا ہے۔ اور ہر شہری انصاف، مساوات، آئینی آزادیوں اور باوقار زندگی کا حق مانگ رہا ہے۔ ان آوازوں کو دھمکیوں سے نہیں بلکہ سنجیدہ سیاسی مکالمے اور مؤثر حکمرانی سے جواب دیا جانا چاہیے۔

27 ستمبر کا لانگ مارچ پُرامن رہے گا اور آئین و قانون کے دائرے میں رہتے ہوئے ہوگا۔ ہم ریاستی اداروں اور فارم 47 حکومت سے بھی توقع رکھتے ہیں کہ وہ شہریوں کے آئینی حقوق کا احترام کریں گے، پُرامن سیاسی سرگرمیوں میں رکاوٹ پیدا کرنے کے بجائے قانون کی بالادستی کو یقینی بنائیں گے۔

ملک اس وقت بہتر ہوگا جب دھمکیوں کے بجائے عوامی مسائل پر توجہ دی جائے گی؛ جب عوامی رائے کا احترام ہوگا؛ جب پارلیمنٹ اپنی آئینی ذمہ داریاں مؤثر طور پر ادا کرے گی؛ جب عدلیہ کی آزادی اور قانون کی بالادستی یقینی ہوگی؛ آئین بحال ہو گا اور سیاسی اسیران رہا ہوں گے اور جب صحافت کو آزادانہ طور پر اپنا کردار ادا کرنے کا موقع ملے گا۔

ہم کسی تصادم کے خواہاں نہیں۔ ہمارا مطالبہ واضح ہے: آئین کی بحالی، قانون کی حکمرانی، سیاسی اسیران کی رہائی ، بنیادی حقوق کا تحفظ اور عوام کی آواز کا احترام۔

دباؤ، دھمکی یا خوف ہماری پُرامن اور آئینی جدوجہد کا راستہ نہیں روک سکتے۔ ہم قانون کا احترام کرتے ہوئے اپنے جمہوری حق کے لیے آواز بلند کرتے رہیں گے۔

“Instead of going through the formality of introducing a 27th constitutional amendment through a sham parliament, it would be better to openly declare a monarchy, because what exists today is outright dictatorship, forcibly imposed on the country.

The very foundation of Pakistan was laid on La Ilaha Illallah (There is no god except Allah), a declaration that liberates mankind from all forms of slavery. Our country was freed from British rule through immense sacrifices to establish a nation where every citizen would enjoy personal liberties. But the situation is completely the opposite. A mafia seeks to keep the entire nation enslaved. I am willing to endure solitary confinement in a dark prison cell, but I will never accept slavery. And that is my message to everyone: it is better to choose imprisonment than to live in such bondage. What is the value of freedom if, outside these walls, we are not truly free? Iqbal’s Shaheen (eagle) soars high, it does not live in servitude.

I give this call to the entire nation, especially to the workers and supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf: Launch a movement after Ashura against the tyrannical system that has gripped this country. For me, death would be better than accepting a system built on slavery.

Every attempt is being made to suppress my voice so that my message does not reach the people and no one dares to stand up against oppression. But I will resist tyranny until my very last breath. I have complete faith in my Creator that this shadow of injustice will soon be lifted from Pakistan.

There are four pillars integral to any democracy: the right to vote, the rule of law, moral integrity, and a free press. The 26th Constitutional Amendment has effectively dismantled all four:

1. The Right to Vote: A dictator has no need for public mandate; he governs through force. The illegitimate assemblies formed via Forms-47, and the subsequent distribution of reserved seats, have only reinforced the perception among the people that their votes hold no value.

2. The Rule of Law: The judiciary has been reduced to a subordinate department of the government. Courts are packed with handpicked judges, while independent judges have been silenced. This is a hallmark of martial law, not democracy.

3. Moral Fabric of Society: This amendment has buried all ethical values. Individuals who are not true representatives of the people now occupy seats in the assemblies. Horse-trading of assembly members continues with impunity, and even the judiciary operates under the thumb of this mafia.

4. Free Media: Under a dictatorship, the media is bound in chains. Freedom of expression has been entirely curbed. Independent journalists are being targeted, while the rest have been bought off.

Peaceful protest is a fundamental democratic and constitutional right. Yet, 26 of our MPAs were suspended for staging a protest in the Punjab Assembly. I commend Ahmad Bhachar and all PTI MPAs who had the courage to challenge these pharaohs. Until our 26 members are reinstated, our elected representatives should hold their own assembly outside. The Form-47-based assemblies do not represent the people, in any case.”
