@VicVijayakumar there’s this mom that is always coming in late to crossfit juggling two small kids and a pack n play. i help her carry it on or set it up and occupy the kids real quick. grandpa practice. mine are grown. heh
i personally dont really care about the downward thrust, but the lateral and rear thrust... dude, that could make for some crazy fun on track. wonder how much time and kWh it takes to compress that much air. that's a lot of mass.
seems like a good way to get way less work done. i don’t know about the rest of you but i am now unable to manually do work that ai can do. it feels like a huge waste of time. these people are going to be sitting on their hands.
New: Accenture has told employees it will only fund $29 per month of Claude use. Meaning that employees who often spend as much as $1,000 a month are now scrambling to find ways to keep access to the tool. A sign of the continuing crack down of AI https://t.co/Z2xswuSW5x
anybody want to fund a hotel chain that is purposely "wasteful" and in an over the top sort of way? signs encouraging you to use your towel once and an app to easily get new ones. personal ice machines in every room. change the sheets every day. multiple water wasting shower heads that are amazing. toilets that work. heated/cooled mattresses. lights that don't turn themselves off. high wattage audio systems for the tv's....
@housecor i like to run teams with slack standups, weekly team goal-oriented meetings, and impromptu meetings for anything tactical. one standing meeting.
@levelsio yeah if you think of software/intelligence as a commodity it gets clarified. we're all just gonna be out here slinging sugar water. sounds like red bull has a future in software.
i had my @Muse make a sharable web app for my voting guide. asked it to research every issue on my particular ballet and present each side like @Ground_app might do it. be neutral and give me the facts. not bad... one shot.

NYU math professor Tristan Buckmaster says OpenAI’s Tuesday drop of 722 AI-generated math papers wiped out entire research programs:
“This recent dump of papers on Tuesday destroyed the careers of early career mathematicians.”
The people who keep complaining about having children—how hard and stressful it is, how expensive it is—should be quiet. They’re just discouraging everyone else from this heavenly experience.
They’re kids; they need attention, and it’s such a pleasure to care for them, be their safe haven, and hold them when they need to be comforted because of discomfort.
And of course it costs money, but so do lunches, dinners, and nonsense shopping.
It’s been one month so far, and everyone says the first months are awful. I think it's beautiful. I’m enjoying the activities around my baby, and it’s so cute. Best.
Don’t listen to the negative people. If you're on a fence to have a baby, do it!
(I have so many girlfriends reaching out to me saying they want kids now too, because I’m showing them how nice it is. And I’m a boss babe too! It can be done.)
