Album Review for YEARNALISM by Baby Rose (@babyrosemusic)

I’m not even gonna set this up with a witty statement or anything, I’m just deadass get to the point. This album is fucking amazing. Baby Rose might have one of the most unique and downright captivating voices in all of music right now. The level of quality that comes from her vocals alone are somehow better than one would even expect. The singer/songwriter really took her time and crafted an amazing work of art that should be enjoyed as such.

The way that she sings and speaks about love, deep thoughts, and maturity within relationships really does show her level of understanding and the music really benefits from that. Throughout this 12 track album, you go on a journey of under the ins and out of how a relationship and more important love is viewed from her perspective. She’s very vivid with her storytelling and that’s very impressive with how the album flows.

The production is very well crafted. So many different elements being used makes this very complex and interesting listen. There are plenty of R&B sounds but you have hints of jazz instrumentation, acoustic guitar, and just a sprinkle of pop. The cohesion is there and it’s something that should be appreciated.

Overall this is an album that’s very good. There’s something for everyone to like and this is the type of music that you not only can clean your house to, but you can just close your eyes and drift off to a different world.
