Transparency matters. Visitors already expect to pay more on the Strip, but quietly adding optional fees feels misleading. If it’s truly optional, it should be clearly stated, not hidden in fine print, where “everyone pays” simply because they didn’t catch it.
If a fee can be removed upon request, should restaurants clearly disclose it upfront, or is it the customer’s responsibility to carefully review the bill?
