Don’t really have time for a writeup or anything on the next but when I looked at the Canberra game last night - I like Savage to score at 11/10 for 1U - boring one but I like it, do with that information as you wish👍
Melbourne Storm v Newcastle Knights🇦🇺
I’ve got a couple small fancies for this game try scorer wise in Waitere & Dylan Lucas but nothing major so keeping it simple again. After losing 7 games on the bounce, the Storm have started picking up wins again, winning 3 in their last 4, including their last 2 home games by a 28 & 14 point margin against Wests & the Roosters and I think they come out on top again here despite the Knights winning 4 on the bounce themselves. Across the past 4 H2H meetings, Melbourne have come out victorious 3 times & Newcastle haven’t beat Melbourne away since 2015 & all 9 matches have been by 4 or more.

Castleford Tigers v Leigh Leopards🏉
Quietly pretty confident in this one so hopefully it doesn’t let me down. Leigh are without their 2 starting centres in Hanley & Tesi Niu & looks like Hughes has been training in centre apparently but if not Hughes then it’ll be Hodgson/Senior defending Mapapalangi who has been the standout player this season for Cas and has found himself scoring 5 tries across the past 5 matches so really like his odds here. Also quite tempted by him to score 2 at 10.00 but leaving it for now but may change on game day.

Leeds Rhinos v St Helens🏉
Keeping it pretty straightforward and simple for this one. Annoyingly, the handicap changed since last night when i put this in my drafts from -6 to -7.5 but still playing it anyway. Leeds currently sit top of the league and are yet to lose at home this season, scoring the most points in the league at Headingley, averaging just shy of 40 points scored per game. Meanwhile, St Helens are third in the league but haven’t been great in the games I’ve seen of them at least, they’re coming into this off the back of a 30-10 loss to Castleford and I think more of the same will happen again tomorrow and Leeds will be too strong for them despite Saints getting a few bodies back in recent weeks.

Return of the Wade.
I quite like this week’s opener between Manly and Souths as I’d expect it to be a relatively high scoring affair. In Manly’s 12 games this year, their games are averaging 48 points a game whereas matches involving the Rabbitohs are averaging 54. Across Manly’s past 5 matches, they’ve conceded 4 tries to opposing right sided back rowers & I like Tallis Duncan to score tomorrow, especially considering he’s scored 5 times already this season across 8 matches where he’s played 80 minutes in second row which involves when he bagged a hat trick in round 8 against the Storm. It’s also worth mentioning that when these sides last met in a competitive match, back in July last year, Duncan scored 2 of the Bunnies’ 3 tries.
