HOW TO BECOME A MAGNETIC PERSON:
1. Fix your body before anything else. Period. No excuses.
2. Dress clean, fitted, and with intention. Look like you meant to show up.
3. Groom yourself like it truly matters. Because it DOES.
4. Don’t be available all the time. Your time is valuable, act like it.
5. Delay replies – create healthy distance. You’re busy building, not waiting.
6. Learn to say no calmly. No is a complete sentence. Own it.
7. Stop oversharing personal details. Not everybody deserves access to you.
8. Speak less. Choose your words carefully. When you talk, make it count.
9. Stay composed in public – always. You’re a professional. Act like one.
10. Smile confidently, not desperately. There’s a difference and people FEEL it.
11. Build a life that keeps you busy. Idle people chase others. Busy people get chased.
12. Surround yourself with smart, wise people. Your circle determines your ceiling.
Remember on Memorial Day. Men and women have paid an incredible price for our freedom.
Freedom isn't free. The freedom we enjoy was bought and paid for by real people with real families. We remember them today.
Cornell suggests we make ~35,000 decisions a day.
Roughly a billion in a lifetime.
Mostly small decisions.
But we make 20–40 BIG decisions.
Marriage
Career
Friends
Kids
Where to live
Risks to take
The quality of those big decisions will determine the type of life you live.
"No" is a complete sentence.
... and it's okay to use this sentence regularly while you're getting out of debt and walking the 7 Baby Steps.
Trust me, it's good for you.
The Dodgers hosted an autism-friendly clinic at Dodger Stadium today.
Teoscar Hernández’s 6-year-old son is autistic and he was at the clinic teaching the game to other kids.
“To be here and be part of the lives of these kids and their families is what this is all about.” 🙏
Sad news for Ramsey and for me personally. Ken Coleman told me two weeks ago that he has accepted a position as Sr. VP of Marketing with a large firm and today is his last day at Ramsey. Ken and Stacy have been personal friends of Sharon and Me for decades. We love them dearly and are very sad personally and professionally that Ken will no longer be a Ramsey Personality. He is a very talented guy with a penchant for personal growth so we are sure he will succeed mightily at his next stop. While I will no longer share a microphone with him he and Stacy will remain our good personal friends.
The 7 Baby Steps are:
1. Save $1,000 for your starter emergency fund.
2. Pay off all debt (except for the house) using the debt snowball.
3. Save 3 to 6 months of expenses in a fully funded emergency fund.
4. Invest 15% of your household income in retirement.
5. Save for your children’s college fund.
6. Pay off your home early.
7. Build wealth and give.
“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” – Matthew 28:6
Easter is our reminder that hope isn’t dead. No matter what you’re facing, the tomb is still empty. And that changes everything.
Because He lives, you can face tomorrow. You can lead your family well. You can leave a legacy that matters.
From the Ramsey family to yours, Happy Easter!
