▪️ We are preached about poverty by those who drag us into a sanctions war with Russia and sacrifice us to the point of economic collapse and impoverishment.
▪️ We are told about a “dark times” by those who, through lies and deceit, attempt to justify a regime in which human rights violations, racketeering, and torture were elevated to the level of state policy.

As for the Georgian people, their true face was clearly revealed in 2024. This is a people that decide their own fate, defend their own values, and do not abandon their chosen path.

A people, as a collective, is measured precisely by such moments - not by someone’s preferences. National days of collective expression reveal the people.

We saw the people in the 2024 elections. We saw the people during the days of mourning for the Patriarch. And we will see the people once again in a few days, on May 17 - united, resolute, and grounded in their faith and identity.

The greatest cynicism, however, is that these accusations were made at the event where violence was romanticized and its organizers were turned into heroes.

Finally, Georgia has always been ready for constructive dialogue, and Brussels knows exactly what is needed for this:

▪️Stop harassing its democratically elected government;
▪️Retract the hostile resolutions directed against Georgian people.

A relationship that is not based on respect cannot be a partnership. True partnership begins when the sides regard each other as equals.
