Our STEAM Lab is rocking! Our students were provided with aluminum foil! With their teams, they had to collaborate and design an aluminum foil boat that would float AND also hold plastic chips! Our Wildcats were put to the challenge! Check out our pictures!

In STEAM this week, our students are busy being clever little elves! Mrs. Clays things Santa isn’t getting enough sleep! Students had to build Santa a bed that will block our noise and light in his workshop! Check out our Wildcats’ amazing creations!

Happy Native American Appreciation Month! We are so thankful for Ms. Cat Littleturtle and her family who come out each year to share stories about their culture with our students. Today, we learned about their regalia and heard great stories through music and dance!

Were presented with the problem: The little boy lost his new mittens while playing in the snow. Students had to use yarn, tape, and paper mittens to devise a pair of mittens that will not fall off of the boy’s hands. Great job, Wildcats!

Our Pre-k students had a blast at McArthur’s Farm on their field trip this week! They loved playing on the farm, learning, and picking their own pumpkin 🎃

Our AMAZING Wildcat Bow tie Gentleman enjoyed some time together with other students in the county and a wonderful lunch at Laurinburg Presbyterian Church this week!

This Morning our Wildcat students were put to the test in our STEAM Lab! They had to determine which ingredients created Chemical Reactions. In order to figure this out, they tested each potion to find the one that produced bubbles! Good job, Wildcats!

Last Week, During Bully Prevention Week, many of our students created amazing posters to show their support and commitment to stop bullying. Congratulations  to our poster winners below for K-2nd and 3rd-5th grades! They won a $10 gift card to Walmart! Way to go, Wildcats!

Students enjoy our STEAM Lab conducting experiments on advertising. Students made predictions about how many students would like Coca Cola vs the Food Lion Brand Cola. Due to the vast amount of advertising, many students predicted Coca Cola! Check out the results.
