Wes Streeting tells @haynesdeborah if it were easy to cut welfare spending to invest more in defence then the government would have done so already, as would the Conservatives when they were in power.
The defence secretary went on to call for political unity on defence.
Our democracy is incredibly precious.
Yet in parts of our capital city, election fraud, corrupt practices, and explicit appeals to particular religious and ethnic groups are becoming the new normal.
We can stop this - and we must.
Our water system has been failing people for far too long. Everyone knows it.
This Government is putting the public back in control of the essentials, and as Environment Secretary I will make that happen for water.

With food prices continuing to rise, it is more important than ever to take a strategic approach to food policy.
A resilient food system is not just one that produces enough food. It is one that ensures everyone can afford a healthy diet, even when climate and economic shocks put pressure on household budgets.
Expanding Healthy Start would be a practical and effective first step.
That's why I've written to the Health Secretary, calling for Healthy Start to be strengthened and expanded, helping to build Britain's resilience and ensure that nobody is priced out of healthy food.

Will married couples with children be prioritised over single parents with children?
Richard Tice: Yes. You have to start somewhere. The key focus is on prioritising young British workers. That's the key focus. You start with married couples, but if we build more homes that are affordable, then there will be plenty to go around for young Brits, for veterans. Those are the priorities that we're focusing on. And do you know what? It's actually a very popular policy. I know that many in Westminster obsess over this detail - but focus on what's right for the British people, focus on what's right for young, British veterans. That's what we're doing.
Sophy Ridge: I think a lot of people would agree with you, as you say, on promoting marriage and on helping families. It's hard to raise a family. But this would penalise single parents. And the thing about single parents is they are the parents who stayed, the ones who didn't leave - they're the ones who didn't abandon their family, who are staying and are trying to do their best in hard circumstances. And you're saying that married couples would be prioritised above single parents? Is that fair?
Richard Tice: You've got it completely the wrong way around. By not allowing overseas nationals to occupy social housing in preference to British families, to British workers, to British people...
if you increase the supply of housing, there's plenty for British people, British workers, British veterans, British families to go around.
This is a big chance to send Labour a message:
We want a change in substance, not rhetoric.
Thatโs one of the things @ZackPolanski hammered home as we discussed his big fight.

The front runner being foisted on the people of Holborn by Labour to replace the former Prime Minister Keir Starmer in our Parliament was born in Somalia.
Do you understand whatโs happening?
Israel has been committing genocide against the Palestinian people.
Piecemeal sanctions against settlement goods or individual ministers won't cut it.
Britain must end all trade, all arms sales, and all support for Israel's economy of occupation, apartheid and genocide.
