@RyanAFournier Shows they just inflated the prices out of greed. Prices on groceries went up due to Trump telling Saudi to cut oil production during COVID. He never told them to go back to their original demand. So that inflated gas prices which affected everything. Mark Cuban explains it well.

@CSBrent1 @RetroCoast Why? He had all the paperwork and requests for aid done and submitted and got approval before Helene came. DeSantis is going to turn away all federal aid and then his supporters will still blame the administration for not helping when the help was turned away.

@patrickwebb I would need to see the opposing side view to this. I know this was just one measure that was requested in the bill. They crammed a bunch of crazy demands in there so to say this was the only reason could be invalid. Maybe we should keep the budget to budget only items.

@realTuckFrumper Not an FEC expert, but what I've read since this has happened is that since Harris was VP the money can be transferred. Now if DNC chooses someone else then the money cannot be and the money is returned to donors and they would have to donate again.

@jasonllevin She's hasn't really done much in her political career so it makes it hard to say. If we are talking about a replacement for Biden I would rather someone else. Polls show that she may barely beat Trump. There are better choices.
