Close to a year since the last render recreations collage, since 2024 it's been good practice for my spriting skills. I could jump back into it soon with the 3DS games, and also making some changes on some now old-ish sprites thanks to even better understanding of the MLSS style
@galacticnovakir Depends, for a single enemy then yeah just 1 b press is best but it only hits one target compared to the complete attack hitting all ground enemies. If you want Advance Thunder Bros, you also gotta do the complete attack
Not sure if this is documented anywhere, but failing Thunder Bros on the last action command grants a better defense drop as you do some more damage than the defense drop of completing the move normally.

@Emilianomario27 Having the frame of the kick itself last a little long likely hurt the readability of the motion so I can see there needing to be an extra frame there since I did add more to other animations, or maybe the smear flowing into the end of the sweep
@kuroitoribenkyo Means the original iteration of the Superstar Saga edit someone made, which while some at the start of the gif were made by Mark Haynes, the later half are by other accounts which are sprites that ended up used in SMBZ
Since stating this, I've made quite a handful of overhauls for Mario and Luigi, more than what I've shown currently so I could compile a bunch soon and show them off, maybe with comparisons in respect to the og customs/edits
Might work on a bunch of overhauls to customs/edits of Superstar Saga Mario that have been around since years before I started making sprites, starting with this one familiar idle stance
