I kneel to Jesus the Christ. I stand for Texas. My profile pic? it’s because some tard @LoongTed called me an American imperialist thug pirate & I liked it.
@grayce_notes@Jimmy_Rohrbaugh@farmingandJesus No. Apparently we’ve discovered the issue. You have a problem with reading comprehension. I didn’t call the scripture itself unbiblical. Only your interpretation.
@grayce_notes@Jimmy_Rohrbaugh@farmingandJesus The Bible says that Satan can’t touch someone who is protected by God. The entire book of Job is written for that purpose. You can’t lose salvation IF you are truly saved. To say otherwise is saying that Jesus didn’t do enough and your works have to finish the job. Unbiblical
@jenanamericngal@pzj1801@farmingandJesus You’re applying scripture that doesn’t even speak about salvation to losing salvation.
Here’s the plan: The Holy Spirit interprets scripture within us ONLY in the way God intended. We should both pray and ask the Spirit for correction in ourselves and abide by what He says. 🤝
@jenanamericngal@pzj1801@farmingandJesus Yes 1 John 2:19
They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.
@jenanamericngal@pzj1801@farmingandJesus Every verse that is used to claim that you can lose salvation is actually speaking about those who pretend to be Christians, but never had the Holy Spirit. It is referring to “church attendees” who never had a salvation experience in the first place.
@jenanamericngal@pzj1801@farmingandJesus If you think have a part to play in keeping your salvation, then you’re saying it is dependent on you because Jesus wasn’t enough. That’s not only unbiblical, it is heretical.
