1/ I’m gobsmacked at how New Zealand is handling Iran. We look confused, cautious, and frankly weak.

2/ Our PM @chrisluxonmp can’t give a straight answer on where NZ stands. It took Winston Peters to sound like someone had actually read the room.

3/ Meanwhile, legacy media gives us noise, not clarity. Old political celebrities. Cheap “international law” lines. Almost no useful context.

4/ Here’s the part that matters: I’m listening to an Iranian lawyer in NZ describe prison and lashings. That’s the regime. That’s real.

5/ Yet our commentariat keeps implying moral superiority while soft-soaping a 47-year system that crushes women and dissent.

6/ We need leadership with spine: support the Iranian people, call the regime what it is, explain NZ’s position plainly, and stop hiding behind talking points.
