@Andy_Bru_ If I'm passionate what I like, I will equally be passionate with what I dislike. And that is because I like the medium enough to be critical. Its up to people to not care if someone dislikes your love. I adore ff7re so I don't engage with the posts but support the passion.

@Andy_Bru_ It really all depends. Like yeah I want to be known for what I like, but with that I also know what I like cuz what I dislike and how I reflect on my. For example, I hate the movie The Notebook. My family knows this and its a bit of a known gag/fun rant when I go off.

@EENlX Not really a new thing. Back when StormBlood was new, I got kicked out of my savage raid group of friends cuz I dared read the story lol this was a week before the savage update and I didn't miss anything or miss weekly loot. They just found it weird I was reading the story.

@Actually_Tina But difficulty adjustments are part of ff14 despite my feelings about it, and I always hear the argument that we should help to get as much people to play as possible or accessible cocerns for those with disabilities that can't play high end, so difficulty division are accepted.

@Actually_Tina I think my biggest issue to this, is this is being said for something I feel is insignificant. Which I can agree, all of this is subjective. But, when I argue difficulty is an intended function of the game, and if a game is too hard maybe its not for them, I get thrown.

@Actually_Tina Depends what the game can offer. For sure things like a visual novel is a no-go. But something like an mmo has an abundance of other things by design.

@Actually_Tina Yup. Lots of others take it extreme. I know I have some stuff I wish wasn't changed, but it is what it is.

@Actually_Tina I have a raider buddy who is highly dyslexic and gets large headaches from the fonts and excess of pointless reading. She does fine with the voiced scenes but can't handle reading in the moment, and does have fun battling and she is a high end raider who does ultimates for hours.

@Actually_Tina For me its always a weird flex and slightly feels hypocritical. People always demand QoL or nerfs, dungeon changes, difficulty modes, which I am highly against but it happens cuz it doesn't matter how I feel. And the fanbase supports it, but when you touch the story? All hell lol

@Actually_Tina Personally, I think you should be able to skip story expansions as a newbie. Just click a "Warning you are not up to this part of the story, you may miss important parts: yes or no". Then run around DT as level 14. Heck might be fun as a challenge to survive lol
