On Friday I had my first ever Casual Teaching Experience! It was so great to finally be able to be in a classroom in such a long time! I was then asked to work at another school on Monday, who then asked that I work three days a week with them for the next 4 weeks! #acuedu_p

the most significant thing I discovered during my EDFD462 unit is the amount of prep that can be required for casual teachers. Making sure you are prepared for all year groups is important if a teacher does not prepare anything for you. Very useful to know! #acuedu_p

Year 4 ended today with a Japanese lesson using the ELLA online program. Some students chose to make origami by listening to the instructions in Japanese and looking at the visual cues. I think they did a great job don’t you? #acuedu_p #casualteaching
