I was told that our bags were not put onto our flight and were left at Heathrow Terminal 5. I do not understand how BA could then manage to lose our bags, after having previously known where they were. This is very concerning.
@British_Airways@HeathrowAirport @BritishAir_04 @JacksonSmith_BA Please like, share and respond to this post to try to highlight to British Airways and Heathrow Airport that lost/damaged/missing luggage is an important issue that they should address as a matter of urgency.
@British_Airways - I've only received contact from "Jackson Smith" and "Patrick", who are both claiming to work for you, be the man in this photo and have joined X this month. Both have asked for my personal and booking details. Please could you confirm if they work for you ASAP?

I’m replying publicly to save others the frustration: DMs are “manned” by a useless chat bot which asks for pretty much all of the personal data (row upon row), regardless of *any* correspondence. And then fails to do anything with it.
Might just as well not DM.
@British_Airways 2/2 not going to lie. I'm a little annoyed. All we want is the refund of our case money that should not have been taken in the first place. Please come up with a better way to deal. Thankyou
@British_Airways and another incident, first damaging 2 bags on my flight to Miami, now on the return you didn‘t even load it, had to file a claim and don‘t know about the whereabouts. Can you check for the bag? Has to be in Miami still!
@British_Airways@charlie_litch Julie, Charlie is quite clearly using Great British humour and wit to highlight the fact that he has received NO support or in depth information. We are all still waiting for answers. BA MUST try harder, because their British values have completely gone out of the window!
@British_Airways That's where the screenshot came from... all I keep being told is 'wait' for an ever-extending 24 hours. Has anyone got access to any further information? Your baggage team are rude and unhelpful. Should I just buy new presents as essential items and claim them?
@British_Airways have you got someone available to call my niece and nephew tomorrow to explain that their uncle didn't forget Christmas, Santa's just forgot to put them on the plane? If not, how about tracking down that bag? Or even just the courtesy of some sort of update.
@HeathrowAirport Is the airline also responsible for ensuring that the baggage conveyer belts are working correctly or is this Heathrow Airport's duty?
@British_Airways I would love to keep you updated on the World Tracer/missing baggage report, but the attached is what comes up every time you try and update any info. And it's been the same for the last 12 hours. Just find the bag please!
@BritishAir_04 @NHeirs@British_Airways; @JacksonSmith_BA... I have had a similar experience to you. I've never seen such a long queue at a lost baggage helpdesk. My bags were left at Heathrow on Tuesday and I've had no updates since then! BA's Customer Service has been non-existent.
@British_Airways You left our 4 checked bags in Heathrow T5 on 19/12/23, leaving us without our essentials. We have spent countless hours trying to contact you for a resolution, but you have made this almost impossible and have shown total disregard, lack of urgency and respect.
