@WaleFakile The latest data from LASEMA showed that btwn Jan & July 2022, Lagos had 24 cases of building collapse with 84 deaths in the last 2 years.

Accra only had 8 building collapses btwn April 2000 & Feb 2016.

This data reflects the failure of the @followlasg to protect its citizens.

I did this story last year after the Ikoyi building collapse that killed more than 40 people.

One year after, another building in Banana Island, same Ikoyi has caved in, trapping people underneath.
