Walk Lahore is 🇵🇰 first guerrilla wayfinding approach to improving Lahore's Pedestrian Network. We Believe in Empowering Communities!! See ya soon Lahore
In an environment like ours where the governments are failing people, citizens must take matters into their own hands to force governments to help them. Walk Lahore aims to bring Tactical Urbanism to Lahore!!
A🧵on what #WalkLahore stands for
It’s 2026 and we in Pakistani cities are still dumping raw sewage in our rivers, that other cities started cleaning up by 1800s
Worst part is, we have a plan to not do that for decades now but we are not sure when it will materialise fully
Lahore Gymkhana too occupies some of the most valuable real estate in the heart of the city while access remains limited to a tiny elite circle.
It is time to seriously consider relocating Lahore Gymkhana to Lahore’s suburbs and unlocking this land through CBD expansion, a world-class public resort, or competitive bidding for a landmark hotel/tourism project which lahore needs.
Exactly…. Micro mobility is non-existent.
How is the difference between taking a bus and walking so low?!
Same distance is 15 min on car. Yet we are saying that we are the best city in 🇵🇰
🤡🤡🤡🤡
Property Rights are one of the most sanctimonious rights of a citizen in a city…
For weeks and months, citizens of Bari Imam have been facing the wrath of CDA, but these people have been living there for decades… before CDA was a thing even.
yet this platform was 🤫
These spaces aren’t for the 1% who have the option to go to parks or clubs but for the 99% who are already out there.
Their parks/trees were destroyed to build the roads and flyovers for the 1% so let them have something…
Air pollution is another issue!!!
Even Pakistan's biggest/bestest YTer @Mooroo4 also calls out the poor urban planning of Pakistani cities.
However, unlike all of the examples given in video, there are examples in Pakistan, in the work by Dr. Akhtar Hameed, Arif Hasan and others in 🇵🇰

Our banks only serve as vaults for the rich… nothing for us…
Go to ask them for education loan and interest rates are around 24%
Can’t expect them to think about public transport when they penalize you for getting education!!
London has over 12000 pedal bikes & around 2000 e-bikes at over 800 docking stations throughout the city. Why can't we have them here in Pakistan? Usually the banks in collaboration with TFL run them. This can ease an economical commute & also help protect the environment.
What do you see here?
I see clear access deserts!!
Being a public good, public transport isn’t a population dependent issue.
And this is lahore, we can imagine what other cities are like across Punjab @MaryamNSharif
We need the purple line and brown lines asap!
