A special footpath encroachment clearance drive was carried out in the Basavanagudi Division by the Bengaluru West City Corporation as part of the Safe Footpath Campaign. The operation focused on removing unauthorized encroachments obstructing pedestrian movement and restoring footpaths for safe, accessible, and obstruction-free public use.

The initiative aims to create walkable streets, enhance pedestrian safety, and improve the overall urban environment. Citizens and shopkeepers are requested to cooperate with the civic authorities by keeping footpaths free from encroachments and supporting a cleaner, safer Bengaluru.

@HMWSSBOnline @MDHMWSSB this is school zone at B.K Enclave and 100s of buses and other vehicles commute daily, sewage pipeline wrks completed almost a month ago bt road is nt restored!
If rains start then u can't! @CMC_Offcl shud hav permitted during summer!

Weekend Traffic Chaos at AMB Mall. Need @CYBTRAFFIC traffic police all the time. Underpass was totally blocked not once specially on weekends it's a chaotic situation. Taking close to half n hr to move.
