This is an interview with Susan and myself done some years ago by Britt Bowles of The Facebook page Indigo Extraction Methods. It may be the best recording I have of Susan. https://t.co/uZJbje0NvW
This is an account of Susan's final 3 months.
It was difficult to write and will be difficult to read. I wrote it as a coping strategy but I hope it will also help some people.

@vicki_dean1 The simplicity of it went deep to everyone's hearts and most said they have never attended a funeral as moving as this. When I looked up I saw faces all with the same expression, we were one in grief.
Susan's shroud cover. Possibly it might upset some people but this is what Susan wanted and it's so her. Decorated by 4 people including myself. My mother did the lace leaves years ago before her death. She would have approved of their use here as she thought the world of Susan.

This summer I’ve been dyeing many metres of silk. These I’ll use plentifully in bag batches over the winter months - my intention is to hoard less than last winter. Combinations here have the common theme of home grown fresh indigo leaf.
